We were blessed to have perfect roads to be able to go to Idaho and spend Thanksgiving with Tyler's amazing family! Everyone was there but Cherie and her family--but we sure missed them! Parker was Grandpa's little shadow all weekend. Poor Grandma lost her voice, so she got to mostly sit back and enjoy our company. Of course, with all the brothers together it was a weekend FULL of laughter and fun. We played Apples to Apples on Wednesday night, and I was a little worried I might go into labor from laughing so hard! They had a fun time making fun of me for being Canadian...haha :-)
Parker also fell in love with Aunt Chelsea, her dog Lumi, and cousin Connor. Ty was able to get some cute pictures of Parker giving Connor kisses. Lumi would chase Parker and just beg to play with him. Grandma saved a big box for Parker to play in, and he loved it! He would go in there, and Lumi would sit and bark at him until he came out. They played really well together :-)
Every single night we were there we stayed up SO late...it was so much fun though. Our last night there, Ty and I stayed up chatting with Chris and Jean. Since we are the ones with alarm clocks (kids) maybe it wasnt so smart, but it was really great getting to know them a lot better. We sure wish we lived closer to them--we could have a lot of fun together! Here is a picture of Jean and Connor. He is so flippin' adorable!!! It seems like he is smiling ALL the time! I just love it!
I still cant figure out how Chris and Jean had a blonde haired, blue eyed baby! haha--crazy.
Connor smiling after army crawling over to Lumi :-)

Of course, there had to be a football game played on Thanksgiving! The brothers all went out and played 2 on 2. Ty found a sweet flag football set at a thrift store, so we brought it. I went out and took some videos of the madness. Unfortunately, blogger still wont upload my videos. :-( I took some action pictures though...
Poor CJ twisted his ankle, so the game didn't last too long. It was really fun to watch though!

Parker was not happy about coming inside after the game was over, so Uncle Kody took him out to see the neighbors horses. They walked out holding hands, but I was too slow to get a picture of that. This is what I got though:
I made Parker a "people who love me" book with pictures of all his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We wanted to teach him everyone's names before we got there. But for some reason, he would only call his Uncle Kody, and Uncle Chris, "Mike" all weekend. They were good sports about it.
Our Thanksgiving meal was delicious thanks to Mom! She cooked for 2 days straight! We sure appreciated it :-) Thursday night we played a game of Settlers of Catan and Farkle. They sure are some fun games! We finished off our trip in Pocatello with Mom, CJ, Chris, Jean, and Connor for Black Friday sales. We didnt hit it until about noon, but we still found a couple deals. Us girls went crazy at Bath & Body Works. After a late lunch at Mandarin House (YUM!), it was time for us to head home. Another day would have been perfect, but we sure had a blast.
Ty & I both love long trips where we get to chat. I found some great questions on pinterest for road trips, so we had a really great conversation for the last half of the drive. It was a lot of fun!
We sure hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving as well! I am so grateful for all of my wonderful family!!!
