Parker

Nana has been requesting more pictures, so here they are...

And a couple of cute videos of Parker. This first one is of Parks eating a Peppermint hug. He LOVES them! He just laughs the whole time while eating it...as you will see.

Pocatello has a really cool pet store that has a petting zoo out back. Tyler helped Parker feed the goats. He didn't really like it too much. As you can see, it was a very cold and windy day.

Our big year!

It all started when we watched "The Big Year" last week. A movie about birders who travel across the world trying to spot the most birds in one year. Then, this morning I heard chirping outside while I was sitting on the couch. I pulled the blinds up and waited. Just a few minutes later we saw our first bird feeding off our feeder. My parents have been teasing me because we have a bird feeder on our window, and they didn't see one bird while they were here. Well, our 'big year' has finally started! We determined that it was a Black Capped Chickadee eating out of our feeder! They are normally mountain birds, but come down to lower elevations in the winter to gather food. In the summer, they mainly feed off of insects. In the winter, though, they feed off of seeds and fruits--mainly from human bird feeders. They also collect their food. We watched this chickadee (and later another one as well) take a seed from our feeder and fly to the pine tree across the complex. These two came back at least a dozen times, even when Parker and I were sitting right by the feeder on the couch! Parker LOVES birds! He just sits at the window looking out and waiting for the birds to come back. We have decided that we are going to keep track of the birds we see--hopefully getting pictures of them all. Here is the great picture that I was able to get of this one.

I was able to find information about this bird at this site:

Family Date!

We wanted to get out of the house, so we decided to go out on a little family date! :-)
Those usually mean that we will go somewhere that Parker can play. We ended up at McDonalds. We ate then took turns taking Parker up in the play area to slide down the slide. It was a lot of fun! I took the camera this time! YAY!

Then we decided to go somewhere that Ty and I could play ;-) We went to Fat Cats and played arcade games. Our new favorite game is Deal or No Deal, because you can win LOTS of tickets! We got 299 tickets tonight, so we spent them on Parker. We got him this cute water bottle.

We sure had a blast! I love my family :-)

My Boys!

As you can see, Parker LOVES to color...and eat the markers :-)

Parker gives GREAT hugs!
We love Parker hugs.

Parker loves looking out the window, and bird-watching with Daddy. Nana and Papa made fun of us because we have a bird feeder on the window and they saw ZERO birds while they were here. We promise...there are birds in our tree...every-now-and-then.

Parks climbed up there all by himself. He was playing his piano.

Parker absolutely adores this teddy from Great-Grandma and Grandpa Lance. He cuddles with it. It is SO cute!

Happy boy after a bath and a snack ;-)

Parker still loves shoes. When he sees any type of shoe he tries to put it on. This is him trying to walk in daddy's boots. He loves digging through my shoe bin in the closet.

Daddy took Parks out to play outside today since it was SO nice. This is them waving to me through the window.

Tyler stuck Parkers FREEZING hands in his pocket, and he walked around with them still in there. It was adorable!

I LOVE MY BOYS!!!

Tribute to Nana & Papa

We had a wonderful time with my parents while they were here. We had a blast at The Craze playing arcade games and playing with Parker in the big play-place. We went shopping with them ALOT :-) , and just plain enjoyed being together. I am disappointed that I didn't take many pictures, but I did get a few cute ones that I would like to share with you.

Playing with Nana's bracelet!

Goin' in for a big kiss!

Of course my parents are still trying to talk us into moving to Great Falls to get a job...I think they are a little attached to Parker (and hopefully Tyler and I, too!). I noticed that Dad added something to Tylers To-Do list. haha!

I also wanted to brag my mom up a little. She is SUPER talented! She has started this quilt honoring the genealogy of her family. Each root represents children, each branch represents grandkids, and each leaf represents great-grandkids for my grandparents. WOW! I love this! Thank you mom for honoring your parents in such a wonderful way!!

Thanks for coming to visit us, Nana and Papa! We loved spending time with you! We sure LOVE you! :-)

Fun Times

We had our friends Jay, Savvy, and Karlee over for the Super Bowl. Although we didn't like the outcome of the game, we had a great time together!
I love this picture with Karlee and Parker. They like each other a lot, and they play so well together. (Karlee has kissed Parker twice now...yikes. haha)

Reading books with Daddy after the Super Bowl. :-)

We have been so lucky to have my parents here this last weekend and then again this weekend! They thought that he might've forgotten them in the last two months, but of course he didn't! He cuddled up to Nana while we watched a movie on Sunday. It was really cute.

Unfortunately, I haven't taken any pictures with Papa yet. I will do better while they are here this weekend :-) We are so glad that they love us and came to see us!!

Favorites

Parker has recently acquired some new favorites:
1. The movie 'Rio'
2. Horchata
3. Quesadillas

I'm sure he has more, but this is all I can think of right now. Of course, he still loves Barney (he does a little excited dance when he hears the Barney music starting). It is so cute. Here is a picture of him as he is glued to Barney:

We got a sweet coupon for a local mexican restaurant, so we went and enjoyed it. We got Parker a cheese quesadilla and he LOVED it! He inhaled it...and drank it down with daddy's Horchata. He drank about half of it! They are both definitely his new favorites. We rented "Rio" the other day, and he watched the whole thing! He was glued. He was standing against the closet doors watching it when I left to go get the laundry, and when I came back, he was squatting in the same spot. He got tired, but couldn't be bothered to move. haha. I wish I would have gotten pictures.

Nana requested more pictures, so I took some--just for her! :-)

He flipped right to this page. I think daddy is going to be his hero :-)

We found out last night that my parents (nana & papa) are coming next weekend! I am so stinking excited!!! CAN'T wait!!!
