Billings Trip

To say that I have a lot of catching up to do is an understatement. Lets start with our temple trip to Billings. I'm so embarrassed to admit that I have not attended the temple since we moved from Rexburg--almost 2 years ago. It was most definitely time for us to make a trip. This is the first time in both of our lives that we have lived more than 30 minutes from a temple. I definitely took advantage of it throughout my life. I heard in conference that 85% of church members are within 2 hours of a temple. I guess we are part of the 15% that aren't because we are almost perfectly 4.5 hours away from 5 temples. With young kids, it is difficult to make the effort to attend the temple regularly. However, having a wonderful sister in a town with a temple is a definite plus! One Sunday, about a month ago, Tyler leaned over in Sacrament Meeting and told me that we were going to make the trip to the temple in the morning. "OK!" Heck yes! Go chill with my awesome sister? Of course I will! With how tempermental Dez is right now, we decided that Ty would hit a morning session while I watched the boys, then I would hit a session. That got me thinking...Ty could handle 5 crazy boys...couldn't he?! I basically volunteered him and asked Jessica if she wanted to attend the temple with me. Jackpot! So Ty to the first session of the day. The boys played all morning together. They had a blast. The house was crazy loud with all the fireman sirens running from one end to the other. They eventually all ended up in their fireman costumes...it was adorable!

Let's just say that the trip turned out AWESOME! Both Ty and I had such a great spiritual experience, and the boys had an absolute blast with their cousins. Thanks Botsch's for putting up with us, and thanks Jessica for going to the temple with me! :-)
