Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We were blessed to have perfect roads to be able to go to Idaho and spend Thanksgiving with Tyler's amazing family! Everyone was there but Cherie and her family--but we sure missed them! Parker was Grandpa's little shadow all weekend. Poor Grandma lost her voice, so she got to mostly sit back and enjoy our company. Of course, with all the brothers together it was a weekend FULL of laughter and fun. We played Apples to Apples on Wednesday night, and I was a little worried I might go into labor from laughing so hard! They had a fun time making fun of me for being Canadian...haha :-)
Parker also fell in love with Aunt Chelsea, her dog Lumi, and cousin Connor. Ty was able to get some cute pictures of Parker giving Connor kisses. Lumi would chase Parker and just beg to play with him. Grandma saved a big box for Parker to play in, and he loved it! He would go in there, and Lumi would sit and bark at him until he came out. They played really well together :-)
Every single night we were there we stayed up SO late...it was so much fun though. Our last night there, Ty and I stayed up chatting with Chris and Jean. Since we are the ones with alarm clocks (kids) maybe it wasnt so smart, but it was really great getting to know them a lot better. We sure wish we lived closer to them--we could have a lot of fun together! Here is a picture of Jean and Connor. He is so flippin' adorable!!! It seems like he is smiling ALL the time! I just love it!
I still cant figure out how Chris and Jean had a blonde haired, blue eyed baby! haha--crazy.

Connor smiling after army crawling over to Lumi :-)

Parker giving Connor kisses!

Of course, there had to be a football game played on Thanksgiving! The brothers all went out and played 2 on 2. Ty found a sweet flag football set at a thrift store, so we brought it. I went out and took some videos of the madness. Unfortunately, blogger still wont upload my videos. :-(  I took some action pictures though...

Poor CJ twisted his ankle, so the game didn't last too long. It was really fun to watch though!
Pictures of Parker and Grandpa watching the game.

Parker was not happy about coming inside after the game was over, so Uncle Kody took him out to see the neighbors horses. They walked out holding hands, but I was too slow to get a picture of that. This is what I got though:
I made Parker a "people who love me" book with pictures of all his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We wanted to teach him everyone's names before we got there. But for some reason, he would only call his Uncle Kody, and Uncle Chris, "Mike" all weekend. They were good sports about it.

Our Thanksgiving meal was delicious thanks to Mom! She cooked for 2 days straight! We sure appreciated it :-)  Thursday night we played a game of Settlers of Catan and Farkle. They sure are some fun games! We finished off our trip in Pocatello with Mom, CJ, Chris, Jean, and Connor for Black Friday sales. We didnt hit it until about noon, but we still found a couple deals. Us girls went crazy at Bath & Body Works. After a late lunch at Mandarin House (YUM!), it was time for us to head home. Another day would have been perfect, but we sure had a blast.
Ty & I both love long trips where we get to chat. I found some great questions on pinterest for road trips, so we had a really great conversation for the last half of the drive. It was a lot of fun!

We sure hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving as well! I am so grateful for all of my wonderful family!!!

Happy Birthday Parker!

Today is our little mans birthday! Can you believe he is already 2?!? I sure can't. He had an unusually rough night, and I kept telling myself that it was because he was excited for his presents ;-)  Unfortunately, Tyler had to go into work for a little training for a bit, but the fun started when he got back!

We let Parker open up half of his presents, and he loved it! He opened up a small present from us--a dollar store dart-gun. He loved it!
Then he opened a present from Great Grandpa and Grandma Little. They sent him some awesome cowboy boots! They are a little big, but that is good because he will soon grow out of the ones he already had. We love our little cowboy!

Then we had him open the main present from mommy and daddy. We found him a Black & Decker play tool set. We knew he would like it, but we had no idea how much!

After Parker played with his tools--while wearing his boots--for an hour or longer, we decided to get out of the house. We took him to a thrift store that has awesome toys. He got to play as long as he wanted.

Then we went and got lunch at Burger King so he could play in the play area. It's weird, but Burger King is the only place in town with a play place. He played alone until two little girls came in and played with him. He had a blast!

Afterwards, we headed home to get him a nap. Unfortunately, he started getting a runny nose this morning and it has now turned into a nice cold. He slept for a little bit, but not as long as usual since he couldn't breathe very well. But that's ok! He was a happy boy when he woke up :-)

We let Parker pick what he wanted for dinner, and he said, "pizza!" So, after finishing our application for medicaid (HOORAY!!!), we went and got some yummy pizza. We took it home, and let Parker open the rest of the presents before we ate.

He opened another present from us--Lightning McQueen slippers (he's in love!). When he opened it up, he immediately kicked off the boots and demanded that daddy put them on his feet. So cute...

He opened the card from Nana & Papa and really enjoyed the stickers :-)

Then he opened the present from Great-Grandpa and Grandma Lance. They totally spoiled him! A lightning McQueen and Toy Story book (both his absolute favorite), a shirt with bikes on it, and a shirt with motorcycles on it, and an Ambulance! Great job grandma and grandpa! He LOVED it!

Then the last present. We used the money from Great-Grandpa and Grandma Little to buy him his new favorite movie--Madagascar 3. We rented it a few weeks ago and he was instantly in love! We got him the copy that came with the afro wig, haha. So that turned out to be his birthday hat. lol.

Then we ate our pizza! Daddy pulled out the special plate :-)  Parker was telling us that he is 2 now. haha

Then out came the cake and ice cream!

I took videos of him opening each present, but they are having problems uploading. I will keep trying, but until then...Enjoy!

Love you all, and thanks for spoiling our little man :-)
Happy Birthday Parker! We love you!!!

SNOW!

We have gotten a crazy amount of snow in the last couple days! We have loved getting out and playing in it. There's probably 18+ inches of it. Parker likes it as long as we make a trail for him. Otherwise, he can only stand in one place. Its too deep for him to walk. I did get a funny video of him "swimming" though. haha

I threw some snow on Tyler and he started chasing me. He nicely threw me in the snow and I squealed. Parker thought it was hilarious and was laughing so hard. This is our attempt of getting the laugh on video. I had Ty fall in the snow and squeal, but it wasn't quite the same. Still cute though :-)

His reaction after sliding down the slide. I had to get a picture of his upset face before I helped him up. Haha

Swimming in the snow :-)

Playing underneath the trees/bushes out front. They are like an igloo! So much snow that you cant even really tell that its a tree/bush.

We had to pull out the 4x4 explorer to get around the other day. It has been a lot of fun though!

34 Weeks!!!

As of today, I am 34 weeks and 1 day. Baby boy is the size of a large cantaloupe, measuring in at approximately 19-22 inches and weighing in at about 5.5 pounds. :-)  I believe these pictures are from a week ago, but they are still fun!
