School

I am finally taking the time to start teaching Parker everyday. He is doing so good. We're mainly working on the ABCs, but I tried to get him to write the word cat and his name. The first three pictures are from day one. He is obsessed with octopuses right now. He always wants to turn the 'C' in cat into an 'O'. Then the 'O' turns into an octopus. But I thought he drew the octopus really well! :-)
The last 2 pictures are from day 2. He's so smart! I love teaching him. It must be the perfect amount of mommy-parker time, cause he's been much better behaved the last couple of days...yippee!

Spring in January?

We have had beautiful weather lately, and we finally had daddy home with us to go out and enjoy it! Is it really still January?!? We aren't complaining! We started out the day by playing in the yard.

 

Then we decided to take the wagon to Spring Meadow Lake. The lake that is in the middle of town with a walking path all the way around. The boys loved sitting in the wagon and getting a ride around the lake. Most of the lake was still frozen over, and we even got to see some people ice fishing.

 

 

Parker loves to show off his muscles :-)

 

We didn't see any wildlife, so we decided to head over to the fairgrounds and feed the ducks :-)

We fed them two whole loaves of bread! Dez even got in on the action... 



 

We all thought it was pretty funny to watch the ducks go off the little waterfall...

 

 

Parker, of course, had to go explore the tank and the "space ship" that are at the park near the ducks.
